It Happened - Or Should I Say It Didn’t Happen!
Check out my writings today to hear what I say to these amazing grandchildren of mine.
Endings Are Beginnings
Beginnings often mask as endings. Both, I believe, happen simultaneously. I encourage you to get this devotion book which led me to write today’s Notes of Hope.
The Sending
Love. A word I throw around too much. Where is that thesaurus? God’s love is seen in his sending his Son to us. My son Jason was sent to India & Nepal. Not quite the same but it is in the sending that there is love.
Radiating God’s Joy
Radiating God’s Joy! My daughter Shannon definitely does with that warm, welcoming and wonderful smile. We all can. Joy is much different than happiness and is always with us.
It’s Time For Joy!
The third Sunday in Advent is Gaudete Sunday. I think I need to get a rose colored stole, shoes, deacon cross and earrings to show off the Joy of the Lord.
Two Moms & God’s Peace
Thank you Megan for this picture of peace during today’s snowfall. Notes today comes from two moms at Christ Zionsville who point us to God’s peace.
Steely-Eyed Peace
Tom Orr gives a very insightful look at peace mentioning John Lennon and Thomas Merton.
Peace with God
Tom Barker’s view on world peace and peace with God. Tom is a dear friend. We’ve worked together on many Conference and Synod events over the years. He is a Vietnam Veteran. Thanks for your service, Tom.
Peace: Advent Focus Week Two
Every day this week Notes of Hope will focus on what people have shared with me about God’s peace that passes all understanding. Thank you, Tina, for this deep sharing of your experiences with God’s peace.
